So, essentially, all the notes refer to the same person, so it's the same person who was struggling back then. But at least they got back...even if things continued to be hard for them.

Also, the earliest work had a non-anthropomorphic fox with an old man as the avatars, but over time it shifted to be two women instead, and then just one. I wouldn't be too surprised if there's a lot of turmoil behind the scenes.
