And well,it wasn't fully AI-done! I edited it quite a lot cuz, being honest, and with all respect to the original uploader, it was a very... low quality upload, small and a bit blurry, so I first upscaled it 4 times its size, so from 600px to around 2500px! the tool I used is a program called chaiNNer, which is like an image processing tool with a lot of options and customization, not just upscaling!

But since it is just like the program itself, you have to provide the upscaling model and use it with chaiNNer, I tried a lot of models from a site, OpenModelDB, ( https://openmodeldb.info/ ) which has a lot of models to choose, all specifically trained for a specific purpose, from general upscaling, real-life photos, 3D and CG pics, Anime, Manga, text and so on!

The one I ended up using is called " 4x DWTP DS dat2 v3", a model made by umzi.x.dead in that site, specifically trained for manga I believe, although it took a bit of time since it takes a bit of processing power, but once done, I had the upscaled images!

Though, as with any AI upscaling, and because the doujin was genuinely very low quality, it had a lot of like smudged or like artifacts, some dicks, faces and small details looked iffy, so I took it upon myself to edit it again by hand, re-painting where the AI made a mistake and basically re-drawing page by page wherever it was needed, as well as editing so the original Scanning artifacts, like the edge of the pages and the yellowish tone was fixed, and some more editing, all with Photoshop, it took quite a bit of time, a few weeks, but all in all I ended up satisfied by the result! :3

As for the dialogue and SFX, I did that by hand, drawing-over the SFX, to erase it, and the dialogue boxes were also cleaned and re-whitened (as they were a bit yellowish too), by hand in Photoshop :3

Also, after that, I re-wrote the dialogue since it was translated roughly, also cross-checking it with what I could read from the original chinese and mostly re-writing so it would sound somewhat more natural the dialogue! in the english version of course!

So yea :3 that is about it, mostly the AI did the upscaling job and I restored and fixed the rest, yea!!
