A thought occurs to me regarding this series.

Where's Daisuke's father? We never see him when they are dining at home (Potentially justified with the workaholic culture of Japan) , there doesn't seem to be any pictures of him at the home he supposedly owns. Haruko seems to have no guilt over the fact that she's making a cuckold of her husband with his son. Just a single line like "My father got married, only to die of a heart attack less than a week after the wedding" would have cleared things up if he's dead.

Maybe it's just me wanting to see what he thinks of the fact that his son is railing his step-sister (or that his son is getting railed by said step-sister) and wanting to know what his reaction was when his new wife told him about the "rural tradition"
