MTL is of all the ages, the "flood" of AI assisted MTL that supposedly "stopped real translators" is only from the last year or so. This tank came out in 2021 (or at least was first posted here).

Face it, the "real translators" have been leaving the scene already for years, seemingly primarily English, as other languages like Korean and Chinese seem to be less impacted. This cannot be attributed by MTL arriving on the scene alone.
