I love when Kitsune does MLP stuff.

The way this artist does textures for their characters... it looks like they are stuffed animals more than living things.
And what the fuck is Spike wearing?

I kind of have to agree with Spike's wardrobe choices. They should have just gave him pants to go with the tuxedo, but instead he's wandering around in a speedo. Lol

@sadikus: thanks for sharing my work! =3 and thanks for mentioning ways to support me :b
@Blackfox156: im glad X3 im not a huge fan of feral ponies, so i'm happy that people are happy with anthro ponies :V!
@MagicalJuko: really? even with this reduce shading/shine style? huh =v well i did post these page with a totally flat coloring option if you care for that. tuxedo and a speedo =3
@l4chuga: yeah its silly indeed. but i unno, just didnt care to put him in pants, since then i may have implied he wasn't covering anything because he may have just had a slit, but i wanted to make sure people knew he was indeed covering a bulge. in his Gala tuxedo outfit, he wore no pants either.
@MagicalJuko(2): hiiii =b ye love this site! o3o such a legendary repository of content!
yeah i've been told it has a plushie and sometimes latex look x.x its supposed to be a fur sheen look, and me and some people see it as that, wish i could nail it so everyone saw it as such... agh...

@l4chuga(2): ooof... i'm sorry i've disappointed you. =x
-well i haven't drawn ponies or spike that much since Dragon You Over, im just not really that big of a MLP fan, just a small male doing bigger girls fan :3 so i hope that my other content looks like it improved! D: ... i think my general furry anthro art is much improved! :< not great of course, but its fine/good, and better than it was 20 years ago.
-the more headon a face is looking, the worse i get at drawing it usually x.x i didn't think i do that bad at keeping the belly area fat or not, but i think i do struggle with legs. Page 8 Panel 2 is pretty bad... i should of redrawn it.
-i've for many years now had people mention that about my fur style... its so painfully close to what i'm intending. i want the soft 'plush' fur i keeping told is happening, but it keeps coming off as fursuit. i did audience testing, and apparently a soft gradient is best or even just flat coloring and all i see is... nothing! that 'texture' never has told my brain 'this is a soft fluffy fur' i only see 'this color shifts to bright to darker and is smooth, not fluffy', and i wanna literally bang my head on the wall because i cant see what i'm doing wrong and how to get across what i'm trying for .... its so painful...
-but... spike does have swirls on his knees, i was just trying to keep it on model by doing so =x

I'm surprised you reply here.
You just tend to give your subjects very felt/velvet-like shine patterns that it feels like my eyes are looking for the seams.
It's not my cup of tea, so I don't often talk about it.
It is certainly different in this artwork than the other's I've seen by you, so I do notice the reduction. I was simply talking overall.

Ah, the artist frequents this establishment.

I too have some critique about your art since MagicalJuko is bringing it up. I remember reading Dragon You Over a while back and thinking it looks OK, and maybe it will get better over time. But it seems it's been roughly the same, and there are some glaring things you can easily improve on and fix.

First thing is the body proportions, they are inconsistent. Using Pinkie as an example, she goes from being chubby, obese, less chubby; usually in that order in every panel. In one panel she looks somewhat in shape on one half, but on the other she is thicc.

Secondly is the shading in conjunction with the body proportions. Pinkie looks like she is wearing a rugged furry costume rather than looking like an anthro pony due to the muscles being too darkened. This makes those areas look like seams for padding or a chitinous exoskeleton on a bug; as well as making the lighting in every environment seem like there is a high lumen spotlight on at all times, giving off that velvet sheen all over her body.

Lastly are those Disney-style swirl marks you put on the knees and elbows of non-furry characters; please stop doing that, it's an eyesore.

That's everything, I hope you take that critique to heart in the future and improve your art. Altering those 3 things will go a long way, guaranteed.
