Ah Season 2, I love Aikatsu but the second season was so bad, quoting one of my favorite youtubers: "You take something that is already stablished as great and you completely shit all over it". It's miracle that "Starway to the future" saved the franchise.

Yes, it did. It sold well and it was good review and it's considered the best Aikatsu movie, I don't because the movie itself doesn't make any sense but that movie + the final stage were going to be "farewell" for the franchise but ironically it's the reason on why Aikatsu Academy exist, after all there is a reason on why is going to get a third rerelease on the next march, yes, the third one.
