Enthusiasm and a solid grasp of composition can and will carry an artist a long way even if their technical skill isn't the best, and from looking through this gallery I'd say this guy has got plenty of both - if you zoom in the details are rough but everything comes together to make a whole picture that is (IMO) greater than the sum of its parts.
