I understand that complaining in the comments like a bunch of whiny little faggots about how muh ai bad is an option that doesn't cost people anything, but have any of you actually considered stepping up and commissioning a human translator to do it properly? Ive done it for multiple untranslated doujins I've found hot but couldn't understand. Translators are not that difficult to find, or expensive. If everyone that I assume will probably downvote this comment spent $25 on a professional commission like twice a year, I don’t think we would be having this crisis?
I, for one, welcome our new MTL overlords. MTL can be hilariously awful, but can also offer the reader a basic understanding about whats happening in the story that wasn't evident before. My only nitpick is when they’re released without qc-checking the translation for the most glaringly obvious errors lol.

Bro, you do realize that it is possible to mtl something and don't post it, right? Mtl is suppossed to be used when you're desperate for a rough understanting, for a lack of something better. It isn't mean to replace actual translators.

Also, actual, legit translators charge about $5 per page. There have been a bunch of "translators" popping up lately that do it for only $1 a page. Obviously, they're just using AI and hoping to fool somebody, as nobody actually putting in any sort of effort would accept such a pathetic payment. Translating your average 20 page manga would cost about ~$100, even more depending on what you ask for.
