What a bad ending this story has. The protagonist doesn't end up with his mother or sister; he's hated by his sister again, and his mother no longer feels comfortable being near her son. That's awful. The author could have had the mother and sister develop feelings for the MC after all this, and they could have lived happily ever after.

It's nice to see Ethan standing up for himself, even if it means that he may have to atone to his family later.

I assume Pegasus Smith will be going with the usual porn conclusion where they make up by having sex. But for once I think I'd like to see realistic consequences where the family is seriously shaken by what has happened and at best it takes lot of time and efforts to mend their relationship, even if only by a little bit. A bittersweet ending basically in which Ethan has grown to be a better person, a guy who can stand up for himself and face his fears, but at a painful cost.
