Oh man, this is bringing some memories for me. Growing up, there were still so many Scooby-doo incarnations that would rerun on different channels. I remember the New Scooby Doo Mysteries that would lead into the 13 Ghosts series.

I could see some potential in a Shaggy x Daphne story. I always wondered why Fred and Velma weren't seen in the first season of episodes. Glad that Swain is giving a logical explanation, though they can't really be called "meddling kids" anymore. XD

I do wonder if the story will have Scooby become a wingman...wing-dog(?) to Daphne as a sort-of change from what happened with Velma in Mystery Incorporated and move away from the Jealous Best Friend trope.

While it's funny to see Daphne flounder and fluster around over her newfound romantic interest in Shaggy, I don't think it should be stretched too long.

Kind of excited to see how this turns out especially when Velma comes back. Is she going to be wholesome or go full yandere and slowly push her out of the group.

I just had an idea. Since Daphne is extremely rich you could have it so she sets up fake mysteries then solves them with ease to further emphasize that she is a better leader over Fred to the rest of the gang and getting closer to shaggy as a result.
