The dude clearly does it for love of the craft and subject matter. Even way back when his stuff WAS paywalled it was generally a pittance for access, and he really knows how to portray and leverage the kink in a way that only a select few can. It's no small miracle that he's even still producing content, all things considered.

I love icarus comics, i think they are some of the best out there but this one story wise is boring as hell, a weak pathetic spineless guy is domineered by some large women, it's been done to death, the guy wont change at all and the story will move at a snail's pace as he has to be forced into every situation where he does nothing but complain.

Still worth it for the great art.

An instant classic. Truly, going from strength to strength. The only small issue with his earlier work was the lack of males (which is, I suppose, a matter of taste) and that has been remedied in this one.

@aleucard Full transparency Dad and Aunt died of cancer within a year of each other, developed right bundle branch arrhythmia, alcoholism and depression from the stress and heartbreak of dad doing the long goodnight. Then I found a cluster of lumps soon after and pretty much ghosted without a word because I thought nobody would believe anyone could be that (un)lucky. Wasn't optimistic at the time considering the family was 0 for 7 on cancer battles - and clusters tend to mean it's a bit too late, so I didn't seek treatment til around November last year especially after seeing what chemo did to dad, only went to find out how long. Turned out to be benign and just needed an operation. Life is strange.

The next episode's up btw, glad you like it, Cowgirls were a gamble. There's going to be about 600-800 panels for this one. Will also be looking at completing special delivery 2 toward the end of the year now the outlook for the future is less bleak. I want to keep making the content public but I still need the funds to do this full time. With the hiatus I'm starting from square one again which is ok, but if any of you'd like to drop in to s.star and give some support I'd greatly appreciate that.

@ICarusIllustrations Condolences, I can definitely empathize. I lost my mom to cancer in 2018, my step-grandmother in 2020 due to CoVid patients being shoved in her nursing home, and my best friend in 2024 to a pulmonary embolism that, in hindsight, is almost certainly due to the long-term immunological stressors of all the CoVid boosters on his lungs and blood system. I've been struggling with chronic health issues since age 25, and have spent the past few years finally finding out that the worsening of symptoms that put me out of work was a laundry list of sneaky infections (bloodborne-fungal and tickborne) that healthy people don't have to deal with it. And I've spent the start of this year being temporarily-sicker as treatment clears out the parasitic crap.

Take things one day at a time, and count your victories, no matter how small. Don't be afraid to take breaks, but do your best to take care of yourself. Some days will continue to suck, but things do get better. o7

P.S. You are, hands down, the best Western 3DCG artist I've ever run across.
