The problem with this kind of work is that when it becomes successful, the author and the publisher just keep milking the series until it turns boring and unbearable to read and for this one, that’s been the case for dozens of chapters already.

The author tried to introduce other characters, not really interesting imo. He also tried to pair Asuka with one of her coworkers… it was worse than mid because nobody asked for that, and I hope that idea gets dropped. Like, I hope she tells him she’d rather just stay coworkers and nothing more.

As for the four main characters, it’s just repetitive at this point. If Kanade really loves being with Kousuke, the notorious cheater… like, just get together already and suffer like Asuka did, and end the story lol. iirc the author tried to end their swapping relationship, but since they had to keep milking it, they started again, then Kanade was seeing Kousuke behind Reiji’s back. I think we’ve seen enough, it’s time to wrap this story up

This is story is just an endless loop of Kousuke, the cheating husband, forcing himself on Kanade who is a push over behind her husband Reiji's back under any stupid pretext, Kousuke is already divorced and Asuka's life greatlyt improved except for her love life who is Reiji, and because they can't swap anymore because only Kanade is married while Asuka isn't Kousuke is pushing Asuka to convince her husband into doing swapping again but again Kousuke has nothing to offer so she is trying to get Asuka into it while she still is cheating, the swap is just to easy her guilty conscience, no more no less.

Yes, the author originally planned to blackmail Kanade into swapping parties by one of her coworkers while also inviting Reiji into it but despite the idea wasn't bad it seems the author discarded it because that would mean he'd have to cut Kousuke's screen time LOL.

Well, the title of the series went out of the window for a while, they aren't swapping but just having actual affairs, but it seems things will just circle back if things go the way they seem to be set up, so far...

- Asuka tried to move on with her coworker, but Reiji approached her in the previous chapter wanting to apologize for ending the swapping and leaving the mess to be sorted out only between her and Kousuke, Asuka told him that was her problem but Reiji says that is not right, feeling he has to be honest now unlike he was in the past, it is his problem too, he shouldn't have let Asuka alone, he wants to be together still; Asuka lost her balance and plainly told Reiji this wouldn't be a swapping but an actual affair, he would be cheating on Kanade... he agrees, and so Asuka completely reverts to falling for Reiji again , resuming their sexual activities.

- Meanwhile Kousuke in previous chapters actually held on his power over Kanade from the beginning: the fact her sex with Reiji wasn't very great, and even if it has improved over the course of this series Kousuke is sure he can make Kanade feel something Reiji cannot; Kanade being very easy to sway is taken by Kousuke again, and Kanade only proves him right in her thoughts as she admits the way Kousuke handles her is just something else; as such Kousuke proposed they start swapping again, wanting her answer soon.

Now this chapter shows it was Kanade that called Asuka and said Reiji wanted to talk with her; Kanade immediately thinks about what if something happens between them. Kousuke then comes by after hours, he wants the answer about resuming the swappjng, Kanade doesn't have the time to answer as he is already taking her, Kanade simply cannot refuse him at this point, she keeps saying no but her actions are the exact opposite.

During sex Kanade notices Kousuke still has his wedding ring, now as a necklace, so in a moment of clarity she tries to reason with him by saying he surely misses Asuka, that things can still be fixed, Kousuke just dodges by saying yeah the ring is something special, it brings happy and sad memories but he immediately pulls another point in his favor as he says Kanade sure seems to be more honest about talking about issues with him than her own husband Reiji, tracing back to the event Kanade wasn't honest about her dream of opening a beauty salon with Reiji first.

They resume their sex as Kousuke makes more advances, and Kanade of course can only resist with her mouth as her body just goes along, it is now in her thoughts that Kanade's deep desires surface, she thinks that this can be good if everyone gets along again, if all of four of them: Reiji, Asuka, Kousuke, Kanade just go back to their happy times, only then this thing with Kousuke can feel right (so it doesn't appear as an affair).

Then Reiji knocks, asking if Kousuke is there with Kanade, [end of chapter]

So, I believe Peter is trying to write something along the lines of these four people can only be truly happy as an ever lasting swapping couple, not a divorce, not Reiji and Kanade together as Kousuke and Asuka go separate ways, only as four people they will be satisfied.

Future chapters will show if that's what is going to happen of not.

Yeah, Chapter 52 seems to be heading towards the direction I thought it would... so far, anyway.

At the end of the previous chapter Reiji knocked on the door, asking if Kousuke was inside; now Kanade wonders why Reiji is here, cutting back to 30 minutes prior we see Reiji accompanying Asuka, she wants to set the record straight with Kousuke after not facing him for quite a while now, Asuka says there was no need Reiji to come along but he insists, he wants to be there so Asuka and Kousuke don't get into a heated argument, Asuka says Reiji is quite stubborn but thanks him for being there with her, in her own thoughts Asuka is happy for Reiji is there with her, she is actually worried about how her talk with Kousuke will go, and she briefly thinks about what talked with her colleague, she feels bad for not following through with her promise, but now Asuka needs to kept it together and face Kousuke again, no more running away.

Reiji and Asuka get inside, they see Kousuke and Kanade together, Asuka immediately berated Kousuke for stringing Kanade along yet again, acusing him of manipulating her, but Kanade looking down softly says she is there out of her own will, Kousuke cuts in and says he expected Asuka and Reiji to be together after all, and to excuse himself of any blame for what he has been doing to Kanade he brings up the swapping matter, saying that this mess they find themselves in only serves to prove the swapping is absolutely necessary for their lives, they can't turn away from it. Before Asuka can lash out at Kousuke again, Kanade finally gets honest, expressing her deep thoughts about the couple swapping, she wants it back but she frames it as a necessity for solving and stopping all the fighting, Kanade is only ok if Asuka and Kousuke get along again.

After hearing what Kanade said, and briefly exchanging looks with a shocked Asuka, Kousuke gets cheeky and says now that everyone has come clean let's resume our activities, he grabs Kanade to restart their fucking but Kanade is embarrassed and tells him not in front of everyone, Reiji gets mad and wants to leave but Asuka tries to stop him, Reiji says yeah he agrees the couple swapping can be back but he doesn't want to actually watch his wife having sex with someone else; Asuka once again focused on how Reiji feels she does everything to calm him down, making an advance then and there so they have sex near Kousuke and Kanade.

Both couples get hot and heavy, with Kanade and Reiji's thoughts running wild about how they are feeling simultaneously embarrassed (Kanade) / annoyed (Reiji) for watching each other having sex with someone else, but also awakening the feelings of arousal just the same. Asuka doesn't care, she is too focused on how quickly she stops caring about everything when she is witb Reiji and Kousuke is in pure glee for getting the swappjng back.

At the end of the chapter Reiji and Kanade are slowly coming to terms with actually being there when they are taken by someone else, and all four of them unanimously think that the swapping is back, and thinking that yes they need it.

Chapter 53.

Immediate follow up from Reiji and Kanade having sex with Asuka and Kousuke right in front of each other; as Kousuke cleans Kanade up, Reiji still had his conflicting feelings of anger and arousal over actually watching, not just knowing, his wife being taken by someone else, with that Reiji suddenly grabs Kanade saying she is sweaty, they need a bath.

Kousuke talks to Asuka, saying how bizarre they're reunited like this, with their pants down, Asuka doesn't find that funny, he really doesn't change she says; at any case Kousuke gives the ring he has been keeping back to Asuka, explaining that for a couple swapping to happen they technically need to be a couple again. Asuka takes the ring, thinking about the ridiculousness of it all, get back together to swap with others... she isn't so sure, Asuka feels she needs to be strong so things don't go off the rails again.

In the bath, Reiji and Kanade are having sex, they are both feeling pretty good, Reiji is making Kanade feel more the way she wants, while Kanade is responding Reiji with her body much better than before, but Reiji feels a weight on his shoulders, he is blaming himself for stringing Asuka's feelings for years and now his inadequacy in satisfying Kanade the way Kousuke can for the couple swapping to be needed at all; Kanade is also hoping Reiji completely fills her every spot so he becomes the absolute owner of her body... but then she wonders how things will go with Asuka afterwards.

Asuka goes to Sakata's place, the younger junior at her company that approached Asuka a while ago when she was hurt over ending things in a messy way with Kousuke, Sakata wanted to her rebound, he is such a honest guy Asuka was starting to fall for him but still didn't want to get serious with him, putting a barrier for the time being, but Sakata still sure to say he loves Asuka and wants to be with him her.

Now though, the couple swapping has restarted and consequently Asuka is trying to get back with her Kousuke, who's still her husband, so she is wearing her ring again after he gave back to her; Asuka is going to Sakata's place to try end everything with him so no lingering issues remain. At his place Sakata says sorry for not being down there to pick her up, he is with his hands busy at the moment, telling her to please take the elevator up.

Inside Asuka sees Sakata is cooking, confirming he lives alone in such a nice place, Sakata says it is worth to cook by himself if it is for a special someone, Asuka sees a parallel to one of the few good traits Kousuke actually has, he also has cooked to cheer her up before; Sakata serves Asuka his meal and it is delicious, but Asuka doesn't want to get caught up in his pace, he is such a good guy she thinks, Asuka then reveals why she said she was a bad girl and that Sakata shouldn't be involved with her any further before, Asuka is part of a couple swapping, Sakata doesn't quite get what that means, Asuka says it is exactly as it is worded, and she is back to with swapping along with being back with her husband, showing her ring, so please forget about her, Asuka only wanted to say that to his face as it the right thing to do.

Sakata says no, she is doing this couples swapping thing right? Why not have him on the side as well, Asuka can't believe what the straight laced Sakata is saying, but she protests, that wouldn't be right by him, she is a bad girl doing bad things, Sakata should look for someone better, but Sakata insists he is absolutely in love with Asuka, he gifts her a handkerchief, saying it is no ring but it represents his love all the same, please keep it, and please give him a chance to show his love just this once, Asuka is reluctant, again and again thinking she should not be around a nice guy like Sakata anymore.

Asuka gives in, Sakata does her and in each trust he professes his love to her, immediately going back to his word on saying this would be the last time, what he really wants to is make Asuka forget everyone else and be with him, Asuka has given her body but still says no, she cannot be with him, why can't he understand she is not the right person to him Asuka says, but in thoughts Asuka is feeling the love, she is telling herself this has to stop now or else...

It has gotten late after Auska and Sakata have been going at it for so long, Sakata says she should stay the night, contradicting his words a while ago about just having sex one time before she leaves, Asuka still protests saying no, she will leave no matter what... but in her thoughts Asuka admits Sakata made her feel something, and for that Asuka thinks she is just the worst.

Well now, looks like Asuka is trying to one-up Kousuke and Kanade in the greediness factor, didn't the swapping came back solely to keep her love for Reiji going? Looks like Asuka is falling for Sakata too, oh the drama, will this series ever end?

Sakata is genuinely nice and probably has a pure heart, but he needs to be written out of the story. He’s forcing it for no reason. I mean, Asuka was already kind enough to come and tell him it wouldn’t work between them. He already had a few shots with her, taking advantage of the instability in her relationship, so don’t push it too far lol.

Joining the swapping? Why ? Does he even have a girl to swap?

Asuka also needs to figure out what she really wants. One minute she wants Reiji, the next she wants to reconnect with Kousuke, and now she’s hesitating with Sakata… Don’t turn into Kanade 2.0.

The author is milking this as much as possible, it must be making him a ton of money to drag this work out like this. Anyway, either Sakata’s out, or the author needs to find him someone other than Asuka
