I'd have liked it if she were given an evolution like magmar and electibuzz, but I understand why she had to be ignored. A shame, really. Smoochum is adorbs, and raising one allowed me to beat the champion in Gold and Silver.

If it got another evolution like Magmar and Electbuzz, I am willing to bet it would have become like Gardevoir and Lopunny aka it would have become another Waifu pokemon.
