Ratatat does one thing, ntr, and does it well. Is being repetitive even a problem when it's what one expects from an artist? There's only so many ways ntr can go, while gimmicks are nice, ntr itself is just that, ntr, what do you expect.
Like take Sanbun Kyoden for example, they've been posting pretty much the same ntr since 2007 till today, and it's still good. Quality is the same, I go into a Sanbun Kyoden work the same way I go into a ratatat work, to jack off to a specific type of ntr.

Innovation is less important than consistent standards, if I want a good ntr with good artstyle I come to ratatat (or laliberte or terasu).

Not saying that new isn't bad, but like. I don't get the complaints if an artist just keeps doing the same thing that they've always been doing as long as long as they do it well. If I want something fresh I'd look for other artists.
