These MTL are pretty decent all things considered.
They're clearly marked MTL in both title and tags just filter if you don't want to see it. I don't see why you gotta come in to where you don't want to be and throw a hissy fit.
Legit translators will still translate even if there are pre-existing MTLs or human translations. Any group that doesn't translate because there's already an MTL are not respectable translators anyways.

I don't mine MTL but I like it more if it show that they our improving. Like the text in all bubble space, wording done correct, and understand that a machine translation will not always be correct so you have to fix what it translate or go over it before you put it up. An if y'all can call them Leeches for not wanting to do bad translation, or for not paying for someone to do then y'all do.

Yeah I just checked out this tenjin.art mangatranslation.ai. It's not perfect but still pretty good.
It has text box adjustments after machine translation plus original text display so you can check and edit translations.
It's also got manual text cleaning with brush or inpainting.
The translation can be slightly off but it's obviously been fine-tuned for nsfw translation already. The inpainting text cleaning also misses some spots but the fixes are small.
@dnta-atnd I recommend you try out BallonsTranslator as a free local alternative. Might take a bit to set it up with lots of settings and choices for translation and inpainting modules but it can be better than this paid online translator if you master it.

story wise this mtl make it worse. it felt so wrong. the art it self is good but the story and translation is didn't make sense at all. weird and very bad ntr story.

Yeah? Cuz I see multiple blatant pronoun errors in the first few pages. Two "they"s on the third panel of page 3 should be "she". Same thing on the first panel of page 8.

On pages 4-5, the dude says "she's way too much of a tomboy!", but after Hibiki hits him she says "Who are you calling too manly?" Those are probably both fine translations in isolation, but the first line is clearly meant to set up the other, and it fails.

What the fuck is "Whack!" on page 10?

I'll give the benefit of the doubt to "good boy" and "jerking off" on pages 9 and 12. Those could be intentional plays on her boyishness/manliness.

Page 27 and 32 are entirely untranslated.

On page 30. "The pleasure is just surging through me. Your pussy looks so happy." Whose pussy? The coach's pussy? Again, just a basic and obvious pronoun error.

Page 34 is confusingly ordered. "That sounds rough. You're right. Anyway, let's just sing!" -> "It is." Is she responding two sentences late? Or did the MTL reorder the dialogue when translating, and nobody bothered to check if it still made sense?

Page 39: "Since that day, but I made sure to cut off all contact with him." Why is there a "but" in that sentence?

Also on page 39, the box in the seventh panel says "Five months later...", and then on page 40 we get "One month later", but then on page 42 the coach says "I guess you managed to hold out for two months." Which is it?

Oh, sorry. The coach actually says "I guess I managed to hold out for two months". More pronoun fuckery.

On page 47, the second panel should read "I came from him putting it in", not "I came from you putting it in"

Pages 60-62 are entirely untranslated.

That's just the obvious, objective errors I could notice with zero understanding of Japanese. It took me <20 minutes to identify all that and type this message. I'm not even as against MTL as a lot of people here, but there's no way you can call this translation "pretty decent".

Consider this:

Human Fan TL > MTL > No TL > Human Official TL

(because these days most official TLs are about politics, not about actually translating things)

And you might say that the official TL for hentai doesn't have this problem, to which I would say that it's god damn rare for doujins and hentai manga to get official translations in the first place. (Also sometimes official translations are just bad even without malicious intent, the taimanin series have atrocious subs, might as well have been MTL at that point)

Basically, MTL is our second best option generally, I strongly prefer MTL over, say, crunchyroll translators. I even prefer AI dubs over sag aftra butchered voice acting (not that I would listen to any dubs in the first place, but it just straight up sounds better lol). In other words, AI and MTL are superior to low-skill or actively malicious humans in translation roles.

Even fansubs before long (if they aren't already) will be highly reliant on AI tools to accelerate their workflow. I think they usually always have been, most fan translations are made by people who aren't 100% fluent, they do it as a method of studying the language they are translating to, and when they don't know a word, what do they do? 1 guess...

The uploader was honest about this being MTL, if you are so opposed to MTL, then skip this and wait for fan TL instead of coming in here and whining. These kinds of uploaders are exactly who you want uploading MTLs, because they label them, so you can more easily avoid them if you have some kind of religious hangups over it.

Like I said before, I'm not completely against MTL. The problem is that all the MTL I've seen on here is either lazy as fuck, or done by people with a poor understanding of the English language.

Not trying to shame anyone for not having amazing English. But if it's so bad you don't understand how gendered pronouns work, you should probably not be attempting to make and share translations into English. And if you're too lazy to bother taking ~an hour or whatever to correct the most obvious MTL fuckups, you should also not be sharing translations.

If the MTL people would demonstrate a modicum of effort or ability, I would genuinely appreciate machine translations. Like you said, better a MTL than no TL.

But none of them seem able to deliver even semi-passable translations. Or maybe the ones who *do* manage semi-passable translations just pass themselves off as human translations, I dunno.
