LUX – Nurse Makima Cosplay Review

This is a good example of a cosplayer portraying a well-known character but not quite pushing the presentation far enough to really make it stand out. LUX is undeniably gorgeous, but the cosplay itself ends up feeling a bit… underwhelming. It’s not bad by any means, but it also doesn’t go the extra mile to make the set particularly memorable or enticing.

At best, it feels like something you would see on a stylish pin-up poster. The look is there, and the outfit itself is solid. She captures the general aesthetic of Makima well enough, and she does carry some of that commanding “dommy” Makima energy. There’s a certain controlled confidence in her expressions—cautious, composed, and a little dangerous, but never quite crossing into something more intense.

Overall, it lands in that middle ground where everything is technically fine, but nothing truly elevates it beyond being simply decent. It’s an okay cosplay that gets the job done without leaving a particularly strong impression.

So for this one, LUX earns a respectable 6 out of 10.
