Hakubi can read his mind in her domain, being intrigued by the fact her fame still living through modern day, that makes things easier, Hakubi gobbled the man down, sucking his life energy through semen, she wants to collect his essence in order to gain enough power to break the seal and escape that shrine.

Turns out his essence is quite good, Hakubi didn't expect anything out of him but that's a good catch she thinks, now Hakubi wants more but the man can't get up again, she bluntly says he is quite weak, he knows that, he tried bettering himself but it didn't show any results; Hakubi takes an interest, acting nicer she asks his name, Kanata he responds, with that Hakubi doesn't see him as food anymore, she wants Kanata to be her familiar, she feels great sadness in him, someone who doesn't have anything outside her domain, she can make him stronger if Kanata remains at her side, by once again remembering his losses Kanata accepts Hakubi's offer.

Hakubi invades Kanata's body, saying she will give him one of her tails to strengthen him, making him a being similar to her; Kanata can feel the surge of power, immediately giving him the vigor to keep pleasing Hakubi, giving her much desired energy, once they are done Kanata rests as Hakubi proceeds to complete his transformation.

Afterwards a little fox spirit wakes up, it is Kanata, he wonders what has happened to him, Hakubi comes by to explain his new self, she absorbed him onto herself, fully reconstructing Kanata as a youkai like her, it was a very delicate process which took a lot of her powers, leaving Hakubi with just one tail, Kanata feels bad for inconveniencing her to this extent, knowing Hakubi surely doesn't have the power to break the seal now, but she doesn't mind that now.

Hakubi transforms Kanata into a humanoid, saying now she will guide him, being her company this domain forever, becoming and making her a family, THE END.
