I just wish the story was more cohesive. It really does feel like I'm being thrown into a room of established characters I know nothing about with the ability to read their minds but not see their past experiences. I wish this story had some more actual setup because so far all I'm getting is "we have an abusive father" and "I don't know what I want to evolve into" mixed in with a bunch of confusingly meaningless porn. I feel like I'm supposed to be looking for meaning out of everything because there just isn't much told straight to us and yet there's no meaning hidden anywhere either - none we can glean from the context we have at this time. It's not like any of the previous comics established anything besides characters and basic relationships on how they know each other. Just feels.. weird. I can respect wanting to turn these disconnected porn stories into something grand but man that takes effort and writing a bunch of trauma thought bubbles is not the kind of effort it needs.
