Welcome to my world, m8 - I happen to be a profesional (SSI-certified ocean mer), and I'm fucking tired of artists purposely drawing knees after all the fucking effort we take to actually hide ours! Then again, those characters are supposed to be amateurs and not pros, so they bending their knees and hips like door hinges gets a pass.

EDIT: Also well done for Shiniez on pointing out that you're meant to swim with your hips and not with your legs, and giving jello-tier tired legs afterwards to the aforementioned amateurs who swam uing the knees instead :-D
