Shoujo Gekika Zōkan WENDY is an extremely rare, albeit mysterious doujinshi imprint from what appears to be the Wendy Torrance F.C. Magazine. While the amount of books produced by the circle is unclear, this particular circle published this text as a short supplemental book, more than likely for Comiket or for a mail order group. The main contents begin and focus on a variety of bishoujo themed works with characters who were popular in 'forbidden books' of the era - doujins that were based on vynil books (ビニ本, bini-bon). These publications were often sold sealed in polyethylene or OPP bags, preventing browsing prior to purchase and reinforcing their aura of exclusivity and taboo. The title itself is a play on Wendy Torrance, thus the depiction of Shelley Duvall in the titular role. The horrified expression and motifs and her appearance play into the 'shocking' elements of the circle and F.C.

Although their reputations suggest extremity, many surviving examples are relatively softcore in content. Some were privately commissioned or anonymously produced, while others took the form of collaborative goudoushi volumes bringing together both amateur contributors and more established artists of the period.

Many of the artists in Shoujo Gekika Zōkan WENDY are Anonymous or simply not named whatsoever. There is only a short colophon, no publishing date or signed works, however, as this work features Godmars, the date it lands is anywhere between mid 1982 to even late 1983. With that said, the style, format and motifs appear to be closely associated with the circle known as Anime Comic Lolicon F.C. (アニメ・コミック・ロリコンFC), though this cannot be confirmed outright.

he circle is generally understood to be the Wendy Torrance F.C., though I cannot find any other works from them or books at the moment.

Identifiable artists are seldom and many are under pseudonyms, even the colophon is incomplete technically.
