It feels unrealistic that them considering the possibility of being masochists seems like such a moody revelation. I mean, after all you've individually been through, this is your eureka moment? That's my one issue with the chapter, but putting that aside, this is a route that could actually work if this was a VN with more time to breathe per love-interest and allowed to do so without the necessary interactions with the rest of the cast that arise from a manga's singular narrative thread.
Maso couples can absolutely work out their overlap and the main tool they need is something these 2 already nailed, which is their ability to muscle through the awkwardness through the sheer honesty they're engaging in to be upfront with one another. Manually taking turns being a service top can unlock a hidden ability to be a switch or at least teach the pleasure of submissively obeying the order to be dominant for the sake of your submissive partner's pleasure. At the end of the day, a masochist understands what another masochist seeks so they can pilot it, less through instinct and more through empathy. But alas, that's too mature and takes long to develop, these 2 feel so confused and late to their own self-discovery and we have a wider cast with their own sub-narratives being solved, so I don't expect that to be the route here.
Tsubami warmed up to Ueno but her previous bullying is something she genuinely regrets and sees as cruel rather than possibly indulgent at least now that she likes Ueno. Chisaki is just such a natural fit. Today, the past immaturity of the bullying phase has the potential to echo as the mutual respect of a Dom/Sub couple who learned to accept what they really are and why it's okay to just let go and dive into each other's whims.

I think Chisaki and Ueno are the most suitable couple. I hope the author can add some good plots and improved relationships between them instead of the current situation. At the same time, I also hope that Chisaki can change herself, not like before, learn to truly respect and love, handle the relationship with Kanoko properly, and be given a good ending by the author. And I hope she can have a real sexual encounter with Ueno, instead of being interrupted twice and being heartbroken in the process. She must learn how to treat Ueno again.
