I personally do not think the pages ought to be ordered by page number necessarily, since doing so in our left-to-right reading system with a volume originally published for right-to-left reading means that the pages that were facing in the printed version will then be reversed. The negative impact of doing this is most obvious in the cases of the Dengeki Moeoh galleries (https://e-hentai.org/g/3776084/8422413f2e/), in which the facing pages for the two-page spreads are reversed. In this work, the only real effect is that the graphic design of the borders is inconsistent with the original media, so it is not too big of a deal in the end.
