Harusawa made the first book appear like a common love story, but being mainly a netorare artist it seems Harusawa can't stray from his preferred genre (like some other NTR artists actually can diversify sometimes, Mikage did just that for reference) so he baited and switched at the end of the first book, teasing the sequel would be netorare, and indeed it is.

As it was shown the at the of the first book the story got turned on its head by sudden drama, as Shota could not get accepted by the same college as Rika did, their dream of going together was squashed; still Shota and Rika hoped a distance relationship could work, Shota hoped Rika would not find someone else on college and she reassured him she would never cheat.

It didn't take long for Riko to desperately miss being touched by Shota, college life has gotten pretty lonely even with contacting Shota often by phone; naturally someone as beautiful as Riko was soon invited to a freshman's party, her demure attitude couldn't say no to that, she was seen as quick prey to senpais looking for easy sex, but a drunken Riko was saved by a charming guy who she sees looks a lot like Shota, Riko misses him so much.

Riko leaves with the charming guy, together Riko vents to her saviour about how sad she is her boyfriend couldn't go to college together with her, that sounds rough, he says, he introduces himself as Saku, yeah, Riko's plight seems so tragic, she does look lonely doesn't she? Saku immediately makes his move, this charming prince isn't so squeaky clean, Riko doesn't understand what's going on, she is still a little tipsy from drinking but Riko tries to resist a bit but no Saku says, he can tell she is very sexually frustrated, he is an expert at telling that from glance and touch.

Saku just gaslights Riko into saying this isn't bad at all, he is just calming her frustration down, see? Saku asks if Rika wants this to stop then say it clearly that she doesn't want this anymore, Riko says in tears to please stop, she doesn't want to betray her boyfriend... nope, oops, Saku says he isn't convinced, Riko's body is answering his touch very well so let's continue, Eiko can't believe this, it is not stopping, she thinks this is bad but she is drowning in so pleasure, she can't truly resist. At least Harusawa changed the title in the sequel to make it clear it is netorare, it is a honest giveaway now, no unsuspecting reader could be potentially fooled in the sequel, in fact this could read as a standalone title since Reika's situation is explained right away in the beginning.

In the Omake page Harusawa this story will go on sometime in the future, so yeah, the guy is devoted to the netorare grind, he is already working on another netorare series on a official magazine currently "Anate no Tame Nara", at least that one was never a bait and switch.
