Given assumptions as the dropbox page text updates are delayed, I offer these two things. The bite is not uncommon in mating. It is common enough that some breeders guard both mates from damaging one another, especially a stud injuring its mare. The other, Seeping Ooze is not shy with the fluids of body horror, and those mutated teeth look sharp.

Well, I have finally taken the time to read the whole story in your doc and I gotta say I enjoyed it quite well. I liked to see Bea's (varying) states of mind as her changes progressed, the integration of Bea's with Yanma's mind and learning how the tentacles had a mind of their own and Vivian's characterisation is perfect. It's also thanks to your story that I finally noticed that the tentacles actually wither after they have been used for poison attacks. Which lead me to realise that, after going all on Vivian to conclude the seeding, all of them are now gone and I doubt that's a mistake from the artist. I wonder if Bea has already realised she is presently free of those blue pesky tendrils.

Three questions:
1. maybe I missed it, but I didn't read any specific on the sluggish pink thing coming out of Bea's breast on pages 20 and 21. What was it?
2. Side note, but I think there is a layer issue for the image on page 32 of this gallery. The Yanma cut-out has all of the black line coming from the numbers being interrupted by the graphic of the Yanma itself and none of them end up at the parts they are supposed to label. But my actual question is: are the blue tentacles inside of the Yanma's graphic part of the "unknown prehensile muscle mass" and is the 7 meant to label that part of it too?
3. It's only upon reading your story that I finally noticed that there still are remnant of Yanma's eyes on the back of Bea's neck (if that's what they are). Is Bea actually able to perceive anything with those, or are they useless after they melted off on page 5?

Also, I don't know if you are still open to suggestions, and I don't know if you intent to actually involve Nessa as an important actor in your story at some point (or if you actually already have something planned for her), but just in case, I think it would be an interesting contrast with what we saw with Vivian if, when Bea is finally confronted with Nessa, it would be when it is her "human" side that is in control, at that point, so as to give Bea have an opportunity to finally have someone she can open herself on what she has recently been through instead of going lose on her the moment she spot her.

What this would lead to, I am not so sure, so sorry if this isn't helpful for you, but I feel like however you decide to make Nessa part of the story, she should be treated in a special way instead of just making her become part of the "usual" process of this infestation (whatever the "usual" process is meant to be).

Before I finish, lol at "Team Rescue". Genuinely made me laugh. Love that the receptionist on the phone even mess it up and says the wrong name. Nice one, there.
And kudos to the artists too, who have done a really great job.

1. So, during Bea's second transformation/moult, the parasite part of Bea is panicking from the traumatic flashback with the tentacles trying to escape through her orifices. They were all supposed to have retracted after she had calmed down, but I failed to spot a piece of one falling away from her breast on that particular panel. Not an issue I would ask Seepingooze to go back and fix. I head cannon it away as it being a piece of no longer needed tissue that Bea expelled, similar to the vomit earlier.

2. Huh... I think you're right, and there was indeed an issue with the layering. Surprised I missed that. Yes, seven is supposed to point out the tentacles that have replaced the Yanma's missing digestive tract.

3. Originally, the eyes were left in as a vestigial remnant; however, as the comic continued, Seepingooze and I decided to simplify elements of the design over time.

Always open to suggestions. That said, I'm not sure if Nessa can easily fit into my story plans in either the short or long term. If she did show up, it would probably be very brief at the very end or epilogue (provided the comic even manages to reach that point) and would, as you say, likely be a more calm and rational meeting rather than a predatory encounter. Also, I will add that I probably won't be adding any more canon characters to the story. I needed the setting and Bea as a jumping-off point, but now I find I have a lot more fun either giving Mooks like Vivian personalities or creating all-new characters.

As for Team Rescue? Yep, I wanted to keep this incarnation of Team Rocket amusingly incompetent.

Thanks for all the answers, your comment about the yanma's absent digestive tract is interesting, it reminded me of the mayfly or the silk-moth whose digestive system become vestigial once they turn into their adult form as they solely act for the sake of reproduction. I guess this could be part of the explanation as to why all those other yanmas died after a couple of days.

And yeah, you nailed the Team Rocket mook with Vivian. And what I read of Doctor Kent and Genevieve so far has piqued my interest.

@ Replica_Moon Vivian got the male version of the parasite. Males are produced from unfertilized eggs, don't have a first instar/mobile/Yanma stage, don't have wings or ovipositors, have male reproductive organs, have a single antenna, and have a pair of larger tentacles. Plus, Vivian rolled lucky and got the shiny variant.

(it still blows my mind that male ants comes from unfertilised eggs of a female. I still have difficulty wrapping it around such a biological arrangement)

@Replica_Moon Glad to hear you enjoy it. Technically, Bea is already the evolved form. Evolutionary line goes something like this.

Females: Fertilized egg -> Galarian Yanma(larval/instar one) ->merging with host-> Yanbrid female (instars two, three, four, etc.)

Male: Unfertilized egg -> Implanted directly inside the host -> Yanbrid male (instar one, two, three, etc.)

I'm not planning on having the species evolve past this, as I don't want to clutter the designs with more features. Any refinements or changes to their bodies going forward can be handwaved as further instars/moults.

That said, I do have some ideas involving gigantamax or Mega Evolution forms, but I'd save them for much later in the story.

I for one hope it does get DRASTIC! Even more drastic than what's already happened! "Extremely" drastic one might say, to the point where it exceeds ethical and moral boundaries, and even good taste! Drastic to the point where the word loses all meaning! A-B-S-U-R-D-L-Y D-R-A-S-T-I-C!

How much more drastic could this get? I will remind comment readers that Ms. Rocket entered with two Pokemon balls ready to go, and presumably there are Pokemon inside of them. (Unless they were empty and intended to be used to "capture" the escaped mutant Yanma) Presumably Bea has her own in the building somewhere, too. It could be that:
A. The Pokemon are left in their ball wonderland and are ignored by the plot. (Boo! Not Drastic at all!)

B. The Pokemon in the balls are sent out, and for the purpose of:
1. Satisfying Bea and Ms. Rocket's new sexual urges, leading them to drastically choose their former Pokemon as the next transformation and pregnancy victims. (LET'S GO, MORE TRIPLE-TYPES!)
2. Reducing the hunger produced by creating so much cum and eggs, as Bea and Ms. Rocket take drastic actions by eating their former Pokemon to keep themselves alive... But maybe someone at Rocket HQ doesn't like this particular Ms. Rocket, and swapped her team out for an all-Magikarp team, making them the obvious first target for consumption. (The fish are guilt-free protein! It's anime canon!)
3. Obeying their former masters orders' in a drastic effort to getting "help" to arrive, but in reality they're just luring Nessa (or other Pokegirls) into the ever-expanding orgy, resulting in a page 28-30 scenario.
4. Putting a Pokemon "Doubles" battle into the plot of the story, where the previous 1-3 events could happen afterwards.

*Imagine* the possibilities.

Interesting ideas indeed. I agree that having Pokémon also be food in the universe is more interesting to me from a world-building perspective. That said, I don't think Bea and Vivian (the Green Haired Grunt) would go so far as to eat their own Pokémon. (Plus Vivian has a Muk, not tasty.) However, if they encountered some wild ones....

If the story continues, I do plan to introduce other Pokémon beyond the current hybrids. In what capacity, I'm not yet willing to divulge.
