Shel Silverstein the fucking GOAT. Loved his poems as a kid, love his other stuff as an adult (and I still love the poems too of course)

I had a copy of Where The Sidewalk Ends that I would carry around and read religiously when I was a young lad. Growing up and discovering his *other* body of work was one hell of an experience but it just made me love all of it even more

The comics in Playboy seem like such a mixed bag, these compilations are really fun to read. Some comics are actually quite wholesome and some of the artists have a GORGEOUS style. I kind of wanna collect these books irl now...I'm a big fan of vintage cartoon smut obviously lol. Kinyada, thank you for finding and uploading these :3

Holy cow! I think my friend's dad had this very volume -- we used to sneak it and s***** at the naked women, natch.

But looking at it now... Most of the humor is incredibly lame, and the naked women are, you know, cartoons of naked women.

But Gahan Wilson, B. Kliban, Jules Pfeiffer, and Shel Silverstein? Wow. Incredible.
