I wish this kind of story had more death note adversarial conflict, and less sheer stupidity driving the plot. Imagine the detective trying to not be turned into a girl... instead we get this guy who supposedly is in high school but has the brainpower of a crayon-eating toddler. With protagonists like this, I guess they don't need enemies...
