A fanzine covering special effects films and TV series like Godzilla and Ultraman. This partiuclar imprint is very amateur, however, a lot of love clearly went into it - lots of the information is very revealing and provides as 1st person source on those who were in the thick of it. Acquired for the sake of posterity - each cover is hand colored by the staff, showing just how homebrew this publication was. It's one of my prized possessions, so I wanted to share.
This month, the editorial staff was unable to gather together, so I ended up editing it by myself. As a result, the content is somewhat lacking. Regarding the “Major Survey of Ultraman Combat Abilities,” rather than making it a special feature, I intend to continue it as a serialized article.
Recently, Himeno-san of the Tokyo doujin circle L & M sent me a copy of their club magazine Sky Ace. Sky Ace does not focus on reproducing source materials but instead centers on general essays.
However, our group intends to follow the anime-circle style — in other words, a format based on reproducing and sharing source materials. Personally, I would prefer to focus on essays, but since we have so few members and receive little response, and because I think reproduced materials are easier to read, that's the direction we have ultimately taken.
As Himeno-san once said, material reproduction can never compete with professional editorial magazines such as TV Land and Terebi Magazine in terms of content.
Therefore, our group will do its best to avoid simply imitating what professional magazines are already doing.
To all our members, I ask for your cooperation in making that possible.

★Preview of the Next Issue:
(Though don't count on it too much!)
Next issue will feature a special on Toei's ninja-action film "Watari" based on Sanpei Shirato's famous manga. The unpublished photo composition “The Monster You'd Rather Not See” will deal with Ultraman Ace, Ultraman, and Ultra Seven.
Everyone, please send us your opinions.
For the monster encyclopedia section, perhaps we'll cover Gyas, Gomora, or Kemular.
