Hehhee… true… When I watched the first episode I thought Hasumi had a daughter with Reiji, but no — she’s just Reika’s daughter, who’s living with Hasumi because it’s closer to the high school… although the daughter is just as wild as her mother, to the point she even flirts with her own father.
Reiji married Reika, and Hasumi ended up as Reiji’s “occasional lover”… basically the only woman Reika allows him to be with, as an exception.
As for the glasses worn by the protagonist of this new installment, she doesn’t actually need them to see. She wears them so people won’t bother her about her heterochromia — she’s tired of everyone bringing it up.
(When the manga was being made, I kept pestering the mangaka many times so the story would end like Hare-Kon, because in many manga like this… in the end one of the women gets kicked out of the story because of “what people will say,” instead of telling everyone to go to hell and choosing to live all together.
(That’s why Reiji ended up married to Reika and Hasumi — even though on paper he can only be married to one of them, he lives with both.)
In case you want the mangaka’s contact, he’s also going to release some live‑action OVAs… you know what I mean… https://telomerena.fanbox.cc/posts/6213219 https://telomerena.fanbox.cc/posts/11956922
