^ I tried to do that. Took an intro to Japanese class in college, even started studying the hirigana a week before the class started... I got a D+ in that fucking class. Maybe it was the teacher, maybe me IDK, but don't assume Japanese is an easy language to learn like German. 2 alphabets (the kana) as well as kanji and a thing called romanji. The kanji are separated into 6 different categories. pictographic, simple ideographs, compound indicatives, phono-semantic, derivative characters, and phonetic loans. Japanese has a different sentence structure (Subject-Object-Verb) compared to English (Subject-Verb-Object), as well as different formats of speaking depending on who you're speaking to. So no, don't just "learn the fucking language," you're asking someone to dedicate 2-3 fucking years (around 2,200- 3,000 hours) for them to become fluent enough to translate written Japanese just so you fap material can be translated ethically.
