I got addicted to the Mexican Minis from the 1990s through the 2010s, finding the artwork to be awe inspiring. I doing some research these illustrators were getting paid $1 a page, I can only imagine what the others on the creative teams were paid.
This is my homage to these amazing artists whose work rivaled the best of the American comic creators!
I have been using there work to hone my artistic skills. Most of my work over the last 40 years has been more of the “cartoony” style.
