Little known fact; Sigourney Weaver actually wanted to go Full Nude in the climax scene of the original 'Alien'. Some people thought that it would play into gender stereotypes of women being weak and helpless. Weaver actually thought that it would show that Ripley was still human, even after the horrors she'd experienced.
Instead, we got the skimpy panty and tank-top. Eh...I'll take it...
