What a let down.

Read Pt 1, thought it had potential.

Read Pt 2 when I happened across it by chance. Useless back story to open the chapter, then back to what we've been waiting for, only to ramble off into some crappy conceal and dump a body fantasy, then Nelson suddenly becomes a Lothario douchebag due to a head injury - ruins Naomi's mood and the readers. Author must have been trolling hard doing that.

From my point of view, it can only be an April Fool's joke. The completely mind-bending aspect and the plot that leads nowhere.
Or perhaps he decided to retell the story completely differently because he wasn't inspired.
In the first case, April Fool's, why not! In the second case… well, too bad, but I suppose it’s better to have a weird sequel than nothing at all.

I'd really like to be inside the minds of authors like this to understand what the hell they're thinking when they decide to ruin a story that, in the first part, had potential and is now smoking hot shit. Simply absurd.
