Why does the art look so off? Their faces specifically

The linework isn't as refined as it could be. The composition is fine, the coloring is descent, but the artwork from which it comes isn't as polished at the rest of the comic would demand of it.

Looked at two pages to compare and it looks like the first half has no tail while the second half has a tail. Granted, the tail isn't there on all pages still (the flip-over on 54 probably would have been tricky to add the tail).

still, the writing mediocre in the begining, becomes awful when we come to H-scenes...
