Also, Lady Valiant states in their own posts that the comics are supposed to be released for free after a certain amount of time. However, lately none of them have been released, even though some have already passed the six-month period when they were supposedly meant to become free.

So please stop with the fake moral superiority. If you are going to share something, just share it and move on.

Hi, owner here! The problem with the 6-month release with the Sorority comic is, due to the way Sorority is structured, with chapters having multiple 8 page chunks, do we release on the date of the last chunk or the date of the first chunk?

We haven't done well with communicating this, I admit, but Part 5 just finished, so even by the six month rule at the start of part 5, we're still a few months off.

Sorority 4 is actually scheduled for a public release next month, which would coincide with it's 6 month availability, with the last part released in February, and 6 months past February would be August. So no, you're wrong, the technicality game caught you in a lie; Sorority 4's last part came out February. not 'more than six months', but 'less than six months'.

Also, as for costs, we have offered a free Tome Tier trial in the past, not to mention several discount code promotions monthly for people to try the tier at severely reduced rates. We've offered promo codes since November 2024 at discounts starting at 25% up to 50% off monthly memberships. This month is in fact the first month since November 2024 that we didn't offer a promo code. Cost and tier changes, I do hear that as a valid concern.

Look, I really didn’t want to take this any further, but you need to stop lying and pestering people.

Leaving aside the fact that what you are claiming about Sorority 4 is blatantly false—the comic was supposed to be released this month, not in August—there is another major problem with your attempt to “defend your prices.”

It does not simply cost $30 to read a complete comic. You have two choices: either wait three months for all the parts to be published, or keep paying $30 every month until the story is finally complete. Because, surprise, the comics are not released in full; they are divided into separate parts.

So no, reading a complete Sorority comic does not cost only $30. Under the normal release schedule, it costs $90 in total. However, when you decide to interrupt the story to publish that Cabin Remix garbage instead, the cost rises to $120 because subscribers have to pay for an additional month while waiting for the next part.

And if someone wants to read it “for free,” then the real waiting period is at least ten months.

So I think you have two choices: either stop trying to justify the unjustifiable, or change your policies and clearly state the actual publication and free-release timeframes. Problem solved.

As for the remix; Remix was a fun project that started with several patrons in the Discord making 'what if' suggestions; it is not considered a regular release.

thx roberts :D Even so, from my point of view, the remix is completely unnecessary. The original story is already perfect as it is—at least to me—so the whole thing feels pointless.

That impression only gets worse when the remix resorts to something as pathetic as a Ouija board as the mechanism for the body swap. It just feels like another nonsensical decision piled on top of an already unnecessary project.
