In my training for advanced first aid there is a requirement that we must declare ourselves, ask for permission from the person being rescued, etc. And yeah, ideally call for a female colleague if the victim is female. If we don't do that, we get out under review. If the person being rescued says we didn't do it even when we did, we get put under review. If the person as some emotional freak out, we get put under review. if the person isn't even conscious, someone can report us and we get put under review.

It's not difficult to see that if some third party women's rights groups is present they would exert pressure to have a responder investigated. You under estimate the power of these groups, many of them have powerful corporate and political ties behind the scenes even if in public they look like a bunch of crazies. Suspension and docking of pay sounds pretty much like how the org would cop out without having to fire the person.

@plusarkos Pretty much like how all conscription works, no? Just because you were forced into it doesn't mean you can't be put on charges or suspended or lose your pay. The above job I mentioned regarding first aid, it was also when I did mandatory service. There's no difference in how regulars or national service persons are treated in terms of punishments. And he was suspended, not fired. So he can't escape that way. If we were suspended here then our clocked service time gets paused, we still have the serve the mandated time after wards.
