I've been curious for years about what the fucking fuck is actually happening in this book, so I decided to translate it (with assistance from multiple websites and dictionaries), figure it out myself, then post the results here.

Obviously this isn't even remotely finished, but I want to put up as much as I can now. Shirow's annotations, divided between world-building and notes on his thought and production process, are REALLY FUCKING EXTENSIVE, and translating them all is going to be a pain -- but a man who puts this much thought and effort even into his porn has to get some kind of respect. (The non-horse-related stuff will have to come in a later update.)

UPDATED: Fuck it, there wasn't a whole lot of translation to do here, so I'm getting to the main part everybody remembers from this. There will be more to come -- eventually including, I hope, the rest of Shirow's notes.
