Fugitives is another masterful piece of storytelling from CBlack. It's the story of two friends. A journey through the rugged west of the United States. A cat-and-mouse game where we can't always tell who is the cat and who is the mouse. Memorable characters. Amazing plot twists and turns in CBlack's patented style. It's truly one of CBlack's very best comics!

Fugitives tells the story of Kyle and his pal Sid. Kyle is a slacker extraordinaire, a guy so lazy he's loath to take a temporary job as a security guard (even though he's totally broke) because it involves too much "standing around." The security job leads to an untimely explosion, which leads to Kyle and Sid (and Sid's girlfriend, Jenna) going into hiding (or at least trying to). There's a man-hunt (which turns into a woman-hunt). Federal Agents. Gangs of bikers (including a journey to the annual bike rally in Sturgis, South Dakota). And then... well, I don't want to give everything away. Suffice it to say that Fugitives is a wonderful journey across the highways and byways of the western U.S. (and a foray into Mexico as well). It's also something of a spiritual journey. I truly believe Fugitives totally delivers on a TG level, but it also delivers as one heck of a satisfying read!
