I see how some netorare authors aim for what they see as a lighter work, when they don't really want to produce vanilla. Just make the protagonist have the means and intent to take the women he desires instead, thus going from Netorare to Netori. The non-existent husband from one of them can't even appear in-story to react to it, it is free real state.

It's like a relief session from all the previous netorare with the humiliated protagonists, Zuma Elena being a notorious on that end, in fact, look at Yamada, he looks physically similar to Teppei from Zuma Elena, but the two protagonists couldn't be further apart in their roles for the story, Yamada takes, Teppei is taken from, such an interesting contrast.

Although Gagarin did partner with Papicolo to produce that vanilla title Baka Oujou-sama before this, but still, it wasn't Gagarin alone.
