It happens sometimes with artists, especially depending on what kind of website they use.
That they might restrict certain creativity if they want to post on their website.
(Like how Patreon bans incest, so there are adult game devs who have to re-write everything as step family or friends)

I once commissioned an artist to draw my fursona.
The first piece, he drew a barbed feline cock for my tiger character.
The second piece, after some time had passed.. He said he no longer drew animal or bestial genitalia, so my next character, would have to have a human penis instead.
