All Mike had to do was say she'd look beautiful.

Instead, he made the wrong joke every man eventually makes.

He meant it as a compliment. He really did.

Now he's walking through the door of their half-unpacked apartment, and the silk-and-lace set he mocked is waiting for him — along with the woman who's about to spend the entire night proving him wrong.

He said it belonged on the floor. She's going to make him worship every inch of it first.
