As per usual, this book is full of clever wordplay on all sorts of levels.
For what it's worth, I do recommend reading the work itself before diving into these meager notes.
Continuing the tradition from Horizontal Archive, here's this book's "Kinnotama is a hell of a writer" corner:

1) The title, "Miyotogi", is a portmanteau of ミヨ(Miyo)-her name and 夜伽(Yotogi)-to spend the night with someone; night call. But even further than that, 夜伽 holds in itself the 伽 (togi) of お伽話 (Otogibanashi)-fairy tale; alluding to the nature of the story she is writing and the style of narration present in the framing narrative throughout.

All of this together, of course, is impossible to really capture in English, but blending the original's direction of "portmanteau pun" with Wildhunt Academy's Italian aesthetic inspiration landed us on Amore Miyo as a solid localized title.

2) "Were our love bear concrete, tangible fruit" - A flowery conditional wordplay on "If I were to just so happen to get pregnant..."

"Should undeniable, incontrovertible, concrete proof emerge..." [of this crime; of what we did] on one hand, but デキちゃったら is also the potential form of the colloquial できる、できちゃう as in "to become pregnant". This is also a pertinent plot point at the very end.

3) Further expanding on 2), a lot of the vocabulary references the fact that Miyo is an undercover smuggler and repeat offender with criminal or legal terminology - pleading guilt or innocence, having an alibi, being a concerned person (accessory to crime)... and it all acts as a layer of innuendo for Miyo's self-insert erotica fiction(?) roleplay. There's more to be said but I'm exhausted and this book already took too long to do.
