Anybody with a working penis would not need to take his time to think about dating a taller girl, especially if the girl is his childhood friend and asked him out (unless the girl is just downright ugly, I guess). Height complex is stupid even on a "male vs male" basis, that's coming from someone 170 cm (5'6") tall. Being able to score a taller girl is actually something worth of pride, believe it or not.
