may i ask why the misc tag is being voted up? these are images directly extracted from the game, i don't see how this is any different from any other game cg.

that's incorrect. this is not a flash animation, it is a series of still images with accompanying audio. the fact that the file format happens to be a .swf is irrelevant, that's merely a file format which does not dictate what actual content is in the file.

It's hard to describe the difference, because they are so close, but most people consider this a flash animation, simply because it comes as a .swf and not an independent executable. You'll find the Rikku animation (just like this) filed under misc.
