Takeru losing it all was very much expected, yes; but Natsu actually sticking by him was something I didn't expect, she seemed like she would either be indifferent to Takeru after doing enough to make it up to him by taking his virginity in Part Two or she would be revealed to be in cahoots with Shimoda all along, but no, Natsu really was by Takeru's side, and he lost even that by repeating the same mistakes.

That way, I believe Haneinu wrote Natsu as unexpectedly loyal to make Takeru losing her as well seem more humiliating and somewhat deserving, as opposed to Natsu ending up with Shimoda without any surprises.

The game was rigged from the beginning. There never was a real plot that it wasn't MC ending beyond cucked.
The author just wrote an excuse to justify the absolute humiliation fated upon him and that's why IMO it felt so boring. There was no twist. This could have been a 18 pages doujin and nothing changes really.
