How come the gallery is 2048x1152, but the game itself runs in 1024x576?

Does the game downscale/crop the images? Or is this gallery upscaled?

The gallery is actually 2048×1152 — you may need to download the original file.

The game does run in 1024×576. There are two sets from extraction: 1024×576 and uncomposited 2048×1152 sources.

I think the uploader composited these from the raw 2048×1152 extracts, rather than upscaling them.

Thanks, chuangshi! It's wild that the game assets include the higher resolution CGs. I wish the game was able to use them to run in a higher resolution... Oh well.
