Why does all of these yukkuri comics end so horribly :/

If we consider the yukkuris as members of a certain society, those accessories they are wearing are like status/merits/marks that position the members in the society; like some real world social circles, individuals who don't have the marks or defining possessions of the society are rejected and considered acceptable targets; and the only mark of membership are those material, social or mental "possessions" the member keeps, identity is only held by rumors, certificates, and positions.
Being harmful to the optimistic illusions of the common folk, such facts and phenomenons are almost always suppressed in minds of the masses outside and inside of societies. This is a common way for almost all societies to maintain profits and interests for members in a society. While commonly accepted by people, many ways to maintain its correctness and it position as an orthodox is applied by the common folk, victims and the rejected will be blamed as guilty by their action, thoughts and sometimes, existence; and any action to go against these rejected existences for interests of the society or of individual will be crowned by the name of justice.
I'm quite sure that the author didn't intent to represent this experiment as a miniature of such common social phenomenon, but somehow, it ended up as one for the observant eyes.

This isn't a Kiriraitaa's work, it is by an artist called "000" (can be seen obviously by the difference in artstyle)
