In his defense, having Cassandra in SCV would've derailed the entire story. (Sophitia is confirmed DEAD in V...due to siding with Nightmare in IV...and Cassandra doesn't fight anymore, simply because she lost the will to after the death of her sister...that and she would probably be too old to fight as good as she DID, considering she's more than likely in her late 30s/early 40s in V, due to how old Pyrrha and Patroklos are. In IV she was only in her mid 20s...in II she was 18, III she was (I THINK) 20, and IV takes place shortly after III...and then V takes place almost 15-20 years later, if I'm not mistaken.) But, fear not, she might be back in VI...which is more or less a reboot of the first one...just with better stuff.)
