@danable - Marvel also did a storyline where Captain America was (almost) turned into a woman too in the mid 1990s. Cover image was Cap as a woman but inside the story turned out to save him at the last minute. But he had to escape in drag since he escaped naked from the transformation vat and there were only female clothes in the Amazonian lab. Priceless!
