The male character in the doujin (there's only one) is definitely Kouichi. On page 49, Twintails says "Kouichi-kun belongs to me now."

The basic premise of the doujin is this - 26 years has passed since the original story ended. Kouichi and Mei's daughter brings home her friend, Twintails, who happens to be this years Another (I think that's what the dead people are called, right?) It's implied that Kouichi and Another Twintails developed an intimate relationship before this doujin begins. They start fucking and Kouichi has a flashback to 26 years ago when he and Twintails had a heart to heart. Present day Kouichi realizes that Twintails is the dead person for this year so he's about to kill her, but stops because he can't make himself do it. Twintails gets pregnant and the doujin ends with Kouichi wondering what the baby will turn to be.
