I can tell you have no understanding of human psychology, especially not when it comes to fetishes. Do you also think zoophiles are turned on by human beings wearing collars? It doesn't work that way.
Also, diaper fetishism (which isn't necessarily related to shit at all, by the way) isn't anything recent at all, you just haven't been paying attention. Being into diapers doesn't make one a "freak" either, it's actually a pretty tame fetish compared to many things that get posted here.
